Ofa Bamberg offers with Lastofa Forte an exceptional quality for the treatment of edema patients. From April on, the flat-knitted compression with merino wool can also be ordered for hand and arm segments. The arm and hand segments are available in a variety of designs and with various accessories. The Lastofa Forte arm and hand products will be available in addition to our existing Lastofa Extra products.

 

Grip film and anti-slip coating for a secure grip at all times

Brand new and unique in the market is the grip film for arm and leg segments. It can be attached to the inside of the glove or sleeve in addition to or instead of a traditional grip top. The grip film is very thin and is not bulky. In order to ensure the breathability, it is perforated. For gloves and sleeves, which are worn in combination, the grip film can be placed between the overlapping parts to prevent slipping.

Also new is the anti-slip coating, which can be attached to gloves on the palm and the fingers. It is elastic, does not restrict the movement and ensures a secure grip in everyday hand movements, such as unscrewing a water bottle.
Both, grip film and anti-slip coating are made of polyethylene and can therefore be safely worn by patients with silicone intolerance.

Even patients with a hand lymphedema can use a smartphone, without having to take off the glove: special smartphone fingers for easy usage of e.g. smart phone or tablet touch screens, are especially suitable for gloves with closed fingers.
Stainless and nickel-free steel threads are knitted into the tips of the thumb and forefinger. They are flexible and soft and do not leave scratches on the screens.

 

Decorative seams for leg and arm stockings

The longitudinal seam on the inside of our Lastofa Forte products is very flat. On the outside of the seam, a textile strap provides additional stability. If desired, the seam can also be used as an eye-catcher for the arm sleeves - with elegant accents in croco look, bronze, silver or ruby. The decorative seams are available for all Lastofa Forte arm sleeves without hand segment.
